Recommended Use At all high points of the distribution and conduction networks where hydraulic removal is not possible, a double-acting valve (automatic suction cup) should be installed in order to prevent air from separating the water column into the mains when in operation and allowing air to enter when it is vacated, avoiding pressures lower than atmospheric, and the exit of air when the line is being filled.
